Wyntersoft

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-09.

The base text of this policy was produced by the App Privacy Policy Generator (https://app-privacy-policy-creator.firebaseapp.com/), using its GDPR policy type. Sections headed “Wyntersoft addition”, and paragraphs or list items that begin “Wyntersoft addition”, are not part of the generator’s output; Wyntersoft added them to describe what our games actually do. Where one of them stands in place of a generator sentence, we removed that sentence because it did not describe our games.

This privacy policy is applicable to the Divide and Conjure, Torque Tower, Twist Off, Beaker Buddies, Far Shore and Hue Hew apps (each hereinafter referred to as “Application”) for Android, iOS and Windows devices, which was developed by Wyntersoft LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. This service is provided “AS IS”.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

The Application acquires the information you supply when you download and register the Application. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory. However, bear in mind that you might not be able to utilize some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with them.

The Application may require you to provide the following information:

  • Wyntersoft addition: if you choose to sign in, the account identifier that Google gives us when you sign in with Google, or, on iOS, the identifier that Sign in with Apple gives us. Signing in is optional.

Wyntersoft addition: The Application does not ask for your email address or any other contact details, so the Service Provider does not contact you. If you write to us at hello@wyntersoft.com, we use your email address only to answer you.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to:

  • The type of mobile device you use
  • Wyntersoft addition: random identifiers that the Application creates itself: one for your game account and one for each install. These are not a hardware device ID.
  • The IP address of your mobile device
  • Your mobile operating system
  • Information about the way you use the Application

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?

Wyntersoft addition: The Application does not collect the precise location of your mobile device. Far Shore can read your device’s precise location on the device, only when you tap “Use my location”, to place a pin; that location is never sent, stored or logged (see “Wyntersoft addition: location in Far Shore” below). Far Shore does not load or show ads while it holds permission to read your location, so an ad cannot read it either. Our advertising partners receive your IP address, from which they can work out your approximate location.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Wyntersoft addition: Some information that identifies your device or your game account is shared with third parties:

  • Advertising partners. The advertising SDKs in the games (Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which also mediates the ads, and Unity Ads as a network inside AdMob mediation) read your device’s advertising ID, its app set ID and its IP address. They use them to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, subject to the choices described in “Wyntersoft addition: advertising and consent” below.
  • Google (AdMob). When you watch an ad for a reward, Google (AdMob) also receives your game account id, so it can confirm the reward to our server.
  • Unity. Unity’s in-app purchasing library, which handles purchases, sends Unity technical and purchase information as our service provider. Unity Ads receives the advertising information described above when it serves an ad through AdMob mediation.

Our own gameplay analytics and crash reports are not shared with these services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • With their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

What is the data retention policy?

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. The Service Provider will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate.

Wyntersoft addition: The 24-month limit applies to gameplay and analytics data. Records of purchases are accounting records: we keep them as tax and accounting law requires, linked to your game account for up to 7 years.

If you’d like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at hello@wyntersoft.com and they will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (hello@wyntersoft.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information they process and maintain. For example, they limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve their Application.

Please be aware that, although they endeavor to provide reasonable security for information they process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-10-09

By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the Service Provider processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing” means using cookies on a computer/handheld device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining, and disclosing information.

If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or have questions about the practices, please contact the Service Provider via email at hello@wyntersoft.com.

Wyntersoft addition: services we run ourselves

This section is not part of the generator’s output.

Some services that handle your information are run by Wyntersoft on our own servers, not by a third party:

  • Game server. Your game account, saved progress, in-game wallet and purchase records are stored on our own game server (Nakama). Your account is identified by an id generated on your device.
  • Crash reports. When the game hits an error it sends a crash and diagnostic report to our own Sentry server. We use these reports only to keep the games working; they are not used for advertising. Because the games need them to work, they are sent whatever your analytics consent choice is.
  • Gameplay analytics. The game sends gameplay events to our own PostHog server, keyed to a random id created for each install. These events never carry your device’s advertising identifier and are never forwarded to an ad network. Where the law requires your consent for analytics, the game asks first.

This section is not part of the generator’s output.

The games show ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC), which also runs the mediation that chooses which network fills each ad. Unity Ads is one of the networks that AdMob mediation can choose. Where the law requires it, the game shows a consent message from Google’s User Messaging Platform before ads are personalised. On iOS, the game asks for permission to track before your device’s advertising identifier is used for personalised ads. The ad networks collect that identifier themselves, subject to your choices; the game’s own code does not.

When you watch an ad for a reward, Google (AdMob) receives your game account id so it can confirm the reward to our server.

Wyntersoft addition: signing in

This section is not part of the generator’s output.

You can link your game account to your Google account (sign in with Google) or, on iOS, to Sign in with Apple. This is optional. We store only the account identifier that Google or Apple gives us. If Apple shares your name or email address, we discard them.

Wyntersoft addition: in-app purchases

This section is not part of the generator’s output.

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, through Unity’s in-app purchasing library. We do not receive your payment card details. We receive a receipt, which our server checks with Apple or Google, and we keep a record of the purchase linked to your game account for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Wyntersoft addition: location in Far Shore

This section is not part of the generator’s output.

Far Shore can use your device’s precise location, but only when you ask it to place a pin where you are standing. Your location is used on your device to place that pin. It is not sent to our servers, it is not included in analytics, and it is not saved. Far Shore does not load or show ads while it holds permission to read your location.

Wyntersoft addition: deleting your account

This section is not part of the generator’s output.

You can delete your game account from the game’s Settings screen. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Your saved progress, linked sign-in accounts and other game data are deleted. Records of purchases, refunds and ad rewards, and a record that the deletion happened, are kept where accounting or fraud-prevention requires them. For both ways to delete your account, see Delete your account and data.
